Carved rose gold and diamond ring
Our latest commission is this rose gold and diamond ring, set with a beautiful rose cut champagne diamond. Sarah loved the large aquamarine ring from our 'Carve' collection shown below and asked us to design an engagement ring with a similar feel, but with a fitted wedding band. The form was designed to suit a beautiful 0.93 carat trillion rose cut diamond, here are some of the original sketches:
First the ring was hand carved in wax to create a smoothly curved ring which would fit the stone perfectly.
The ring was then cast in 18 carat rose gold, before being set in our workshop. Finally it was given a brushed satin finish which accentuates the smooth curves of the ring.
