A very unique Grey Diamond
A chic and elegant alternative to a white diamond, grey diamonds are modern and sophisticated and have become a very popular choice for engagement rings; we have had more and more customers enquiring about them! When we saw this very unusually cut grey diamond, we knew we had to have it and include it in our recently launched Aegis collection.
Cut in an arrow head shape, this grey diamond is set in 18ct rose gold. Hand carved in wax first and then cast into gold, the stone really shaped how the ring would be designed, carved and ultimately set. Having the setting left open at the flat end of the stone gave us the opportunity to carve out a channel underneath the stone and with this channel polished, it contrasts beautifully to the satin finish of the band.
